Focus and Scope
Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Kesehatan focuses on community service, community empowerment, and scholarly works in the fields of nursing, public health, midwifery, medical laboratory technology, and health services management. The journal aims to disseminate evidence-based community service practices, innovative interventions, and community empowerment initiatives that contribute to the improvement of community health and healthcare services.
The journal welcomes original community service articles and relevant scholarly works covering, but not limited to:
- Nursing, including community nursing, health education, health promotion, family and elderly care, maternal and child health, mental health promotion, chronic disease management, disaster preparedness, nursing empowerment, and nursing education.
- Public Health, including health promotion and education, disease prevention, community health, public health nutrition, environmental health, occupational health and safety, epidemiology-based community interventions, healthy lifestyle promotion, and community empowerment.
- Midwifery, including maternal and reproductive health, pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care, neonatal and infant health, family planning, adolescent reproductive health, women’s health, and community-based midwifery services.
- Medical Laboratory Technology, including community health screening, infectious disease screening, non-communicable disease screening, health laboratory education, diagnostic testing, molecular diagnostics, laboratory-based community interventions, and health promotion related to laboratory testing.
- Health Services Management and Administration, including healthcare quality improvement, patient safety education, health facility management, health service administration, health information management, digital health, and community-based health service improvement.
The journal also considers interdisciplinary community service activities that integrate nursing, public health, midwifery, medical laboratory technology, health services management, and other related health sciences to address health problems and community needs.
