APLIKASI ANDROID DIAGNOSIS KEPERAWATAN TERHADAP KECEPATAN PENENTUAN DIAGNOSIS KEPERAWATAN

Abstrak

Technology is currently an important influence in the work process, especially in the world of health, especially in nursing. Technology must be able to provide speed and convenience for nurses in determining nursing diagnoses. At this time several nursing diagnosis android applications already exist in PlayStore, but there is no research related to speed in determining nursing diagnosis. This study aims to identify the effectiveness of the nursing diagnosis android application on the speed of determining nursing diagnoses. The research method used a quasi-experimental design involving 30 respondents who were divided into control (SDKI book) and intervention (android application) groups. The results showed that the intervention group had a shorter average time (7.23 minutes) than the control group (13.05 minutes), with a significant difference (p-value = 0.0001). the conclusion of this study shows that the nursing diagnosis android application is effective on the speed of determining nursing diagnoses. The nursing diagnosis android application is recommended to be implemented in daily nursing practice but still does not rule out the main source, namely the nursing diagnosis book.
